👉 Notes on the material oak wood

Oak is known for its durability and resistance to external influences such as weather and moisture, and is considered a highly valuable and decorative native wood. All oak doorbell plates we offer are specially selected and meet Grade 1A standards. This means a harmonious, light grain and virtually no knots. Each wooden plate is carefully handcrafted, with the beveled edges and cable recess on the back providing practical details. As this is a natural product, color variations, differences in grain, engraving brightness, and engraving depth may occur. The plate is treated with a hard wax oil, giving it a slightly matte sheen. Oak contains tannic acid, which can leach upon contact with iron or alkalis. When attaching the plate, please ensure that only rust-proof screws or nails are used.
